Background: Ji-Sun Kim (Sunny) has a Master of Arts in Sociology Degree from Seoul National University and a Bachelor of Politics and Diplomacy from Konkuk University in Korea. Her MA thesis examines the features of Self-support Care in South Korea. Her research interests include poverty and the welfare state, social inequality and comparative social policy, immigration policy and social security system. Sunny’s PhD research is supported by a University of NSW International Research Scholarship
