The AIHW has, for over a decade, been developing, collating, analysing and publishing national data on disability and disability services. What do national data tell us about disability and disability services? What do we know that we did not know ten years ago? What influence have national data had on policies over the last decade? How has the disability field shaped the data collected? Second, what developments are occurring in national data, and why? What do we need to know now and in the future?
